Sundre Paddlefest & Women's WW Weekend

Two days of great paddling on the Upper Red Deer River. We will be camping this year at the Panther River Retreat with Sunset Guiding . Come for a lesson or just to paddle with some wonderful people. If you have never paddled the Upper Red Deer this is a great stretch of river with many different runs on it - Grade II with some Class III features that make this one of the "go to" rivers for paddlers all summer long.

We have moved the Paddlefest to the Panther River Retreat with Sunset Guiding near the Mountaire Lodge and the confluence of the Panther and Red Deer Rivers. The Panther River Retreat is located 65 kms from Sundre on the Red Deer River Road. There are cabins, campground, showers and dining facilities on site.

And of course we will have all sorts of great paddling, good meals, excellent instruction and the chance to enjoy the upper Red Deer and Panther Rivers together. The meal package includes 2 hot breakfasts and 1 delicious roast  beef supper. 

Last year everyone was excited to be back at a full service facility and really enjoyed it after our several years of being "lost in the wilderness" roughing it along the river at Cache Hill.

It was so GOOD that the Ladies have decided that they want to join us. So we are wrapping the Women's WhiteWater Weekend into the Sundre Paddlefest . Camping and meals will be together but we will have special clinics for the ladies with some guest instructors just for them.
