We have moved the Paddlefest to the Forest Reserve and we are using one of the campgrounds that the paddling groups have used for years - the Cache Hill Campsite. The Cache Hill campsite is located 38 kms from Sundre on the Red Deer River Road and 6 km west of the Red Deer River Ranch. We will bring in toilets, potable water, tents and tarps so that we are well equipped for the gathering.
And of course we will have all sorts of great paddling, good meals, excellent instruction and the chance to enjoy the upper Red Deer River together.
Paddle Alberta is sponsoring a Steak Dinner on Saturday night in honour of their 40th anniversary as the Provincial Sport Organization for recreational paddlesports.
