The Fraser river around Mt. Robson provincial park has something for everyone.
From the Robson meadows campsite to the put-in of the raft run is a class1/2 float that is very scenic and abundant with wildlife great for novice paddlers.
Then there is the raft run which is a class 2 and 3 stretch with many exciting wave trains. this will keep intermediate paddlers very entertained.
Further up river there is the pipeline run which is a terrific class 4 paddle that ends with a bang at a 30ft water fall called Overlander falls. a terrific run for advanced paddlers.
Then in between the water fall and the campground there is the canyon which is Class 4+ and 5 short but thrilling run.

Our campsite is the group campsite at the Robson Meadows campground. just across the road from the Mt. Robson visitor center.
from Jasper head east on the Yellowhead Highway (highway 16) for 85 km's then turn left on to Hargreaves road. skip the first right turn which is the main entrance and take your second right which is the group camping area. if you get to the bridge over the Fraser river you have gone a touch to far.
