The Youth Winter Whitewater event is on! This is always an amazing opportunity to see friends and competitors from across the province and have fun surfing, playing polo and racing around poles!
AWA, ACPA, ASCK, APL and EWP are joining forces to bring an amazing youth opportunity to Edmonton January 27th & 28th!

Saturday - West Edmonton Mall Wave Pool 6:30p-11:30p - Surfing & Slalom
- Group 1
- meet at 5:30pm (Door C)
- Waves start at 6:30 surf
- 8pm-10pm - Slalom Race & Freestyle flatwater skills
- 10pm - Depart
- Group 2
- meet at 7pm
- 8-10pm - Slalom Race & Freestyle flatwater skills
- 10-11:30 surf
- 11:30 Depart
Sunday - Kinsmen Pool - noon-6p - Gates & Polo
- 11-noon - set up and athlete arrival (Door 16)
- Noon - 2pm - Kayak Cross Head-to-Head racing (Heats will be based off slalom times)
- 2pm - 6pm - Polo Tournament - 2 divisions - 4 Teams per division - 4v4
- 6pm clean up and depart

Equipment provided as requested (in registration)
- If you can bring a boat/pdf/helmet from your club, that would be helpful. Labelling equipment reduces lost items!
- Freestyle or river boat for wave pool
- Slalom races can be done in any boat, but sharing composite boats will be fastest
- Slalom head-to-head will start on the ramp so half-slice/creek/river running boat is best
- Polo boats provided
Warm clothes for in water and dry for on-land are recommended as the air can be chilly.
Personal Water bottles will help avoid plastic use

Kinsmen Access - Door 16 - If you are bringing a boat, please aim for 2pm so we can get everything inside and get organized
WEM Access - Fire Exit C - (do not try to access through the main entrance)
