We are stoked to announce the First Annual Toby Creek Slalom Race. With a total CASH PRIZE purse of at least $1500 this promises to become one of the most competitive creek races in Western Canada.
There will be an intermediate and expert category with expert racers doing a time trial on the intermediate course and the final being a gate slalom on the Class IV/IV+ Slipping Rock Rapid.
Intermediate Category will be two timed runs runs on a Class II/III run with gates right by Panorama Mountain Resort.
Creek racing clinics will be available on the Saturday morning for intermediate racers.
Registration fees of $55 include 2 nights camping, race fees and a BBQ on Saturday evening.
Camping and evening meal is available for non-paddlers for $30 and we ask everyone (including non-paddlers) register for the event so we have an idea of numbers.
