This group was created specifically to get the Cochrane paddling community back on the water for the Winter months at the Spray Lakes Centre pool.
Along with pool sessions, we aim to build upon our local water community and run beginner friendly programming including but not limited to: kayak rolling clinics, Mentorship Programs for kayak and stand up paddle boarding, beginner paddle board lake and river trips, and introductory kayak river running programs

We are a community club located here in Calgary, AB with a focus on building community around the world of paddle sports. Specifically whitewater kayaking, canoeing and stand up paddleboarding. We work alongside the University of Calgary Outdoor Centre and the Alberta Whitewater Association to promote this paddling community to others. Student engagement is very important to us as we also work with the U of C Outdoor Adventurers student club (UCOA) to organize events such as pool sessions to enrich the network of paddlers. We are also very much open to members of the public who are looking for a group of people to paddle with regularly. All are welcome as we encourage others to get out and give paddling a try!
