The trip to Nationals will start in Calgary and end up in central Ontario. En-route there is a surf stop at Sturgeon Falls, Manitoba and a variety of breaks to get some paddling in.
We will arrive in Minden to practise at the Gull River Wildwater Preserve for a week . While at the Gull we will be participating in the test event for the 2015 Pan American Games and then the National Freestyle Championships.
Then we will move camp up to the Madawaska River and the Madawaska Kanu Centre for the National Wildwater and Slalom Championships.
No trip to Ontario is complete without a paddle over on the Ottawa River and somewhere we will fit in a day to make that happen.
We will be leaving the east on Saturday, August 30 and arriving home on September 1
